Skylar's Missionary Efforts:
Skylar grew up in a Christian home in Ohio. She felt the Lord calling her to missions from the young age of 8 and when in college, she was given the opportunity to go on a short-term trip to Taiwan. She fell in love with the culture and ministry there and is now back doing ministry full-time for two years.
Word of Life Taiwan uses English as a tool for ministry. They reach people 18+ who are looking to learn English and use that opportunity to share the gospel. Many of the students in the program are not believers, so there are many opportunities for sharing the gospel! While in Taiwan, Skylar is teaching English and Bible classes with Word of Life, as well as discipling girls and encouraging them in their walk with the Lord.
